1."Talibon is expected to become a city soon, as it already fulfills all the requirements necessary for the transition. In fact, Talibon is the municipality with the second largest revenue collection, amounting to 374 million in the year 2023, surpassed only by Tagbilaran City at 503 million, and followed by Carmen at 342 million." The source of income in Talibongnon has diversified over time. Once reliant on agriculture, fisheries, and government employment, the community now includes international traders, manufacturers, shipbuilders, miners, entrepreneurs, skilled workers, health workers abroad, successful seafarers, and families engaged in property investment and businesses.


2. Talibon Colleges and Learning Centers are rapidly expanding and establishing themselves as a leader in northern Bohol. With more schools and students, there is a larger market and greater potential for investment in malls and large stores.

Talibon Polytechnic College (TPC) is currently a prominent college in town and is aiming to attain university status soon. At the time of writing this article, a large new building is set to be constructed at TPC, and the range of courses offered is expanding. It is anticipated that TPC will soon emerge as the largest and most esteemed educational institution in the northern part of the province.



Blessed Trinity College, the most prestigious private school in town, is known for its excellent teaching with high passing rates, ranging from 98% to 100% on every board exam. Graduates of their Business Administration program are highly sought after by employers. Blessed Trinity High School, the school's high school division, has been a legendary institution for over four decades. It was previously located beside the Talibon Cathedral but has now been relocated to Kapawan, Poblacion, where it has a new and spacious campus. Over time, the institution expanded to offer college courses, becoming the first college in town.




BIT International College in Talibon, Bohol is a pioneering higher education institution in this town, with a main campus in the city offering bachelor's degrees in marine or sea-related courses. Initially, BIT was a college-only center, but it has since expanded to offer primary, secondary, and tertiary education up to Grades 11 & 12, as well as other bachelor's courses in finance, accounting, and arts, as demand arises.




North Coast Bohol Institute Inc. (NCBII) is a private college school located in San Francisco, Talibon, fully supported by TESDA Programs.  Also offering senior high school and (BSIS) Bachelor in Science major in Information Systems. The school comes from a humble beginning, with its small internet cafe area near the Talibon, Cathedral which now has grown into a huge campus in the eastern part of Talibon. It is a source of pride for the people of Talibon, as the founder is a true Talibongnon, who started as a regular teacher and continuously learns and grows.



Every barangay in Talibon has its own primary and secondary schools with public as well as private institution. But unknown to many, not yet publicized, a big training/learning centers for fisheries and agriculture is being developed in the far end area in San Francisco, Talibon. This also includes hatchery of fish and farm seedlings. When this is fully established, it will become the biggest and most complete agri center in the entire Visayas.
