Crossing area at San /Jose, Talibon

If you wish to come to Talibon, the easiest, most comfortable, and specially safest way is to arrange your travel with your most trusted or "suking" travel agency. That is highly recommended, actually recommended for all destinations anywhere in the world.

But if you want adventure and a DIY traveler, you're on the right track baby because this article is all coming back to me now aw este ... all about how to come to Talibon where ever you are in the world.

First and foremost, is to know what is the available flight from your place that will arrive closest or direct to Bohol airports.  Note that there are now 70 airports in the Philippines handling international, charter flights, and domestic. And each year, this number continues to grow as demands for each island of about 7 thousand more are growing.

Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA), is a new airport and would be Bohol's premier gateway to the world. However, currently, most of the flights coming in are domestic so it would be rare to find this flight.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport(NAIA), also famously known by its previous name Manila International Airport (MIA), is the biggest airport in the country, located in the capital, Manila is the Philippine's main gateway to the world.

Mactan - Cebu International Airport (MCIA), located on the sister/neighbor island of Cebu specifically Mactan, Cebu.

Both MIA and MCIA have domestic flights from and to BPIA. For international travelers, make sure to get a schedule with connecting flights to BPIA.

Currently, below are the regular flight schedules as per the BPIA posting.

For Cebu-Bohol flights, most often are chartered flights from small private airplanes. Sometimes or seasonal, there are connecting flights or even direct flights.

Cebu is just more than an hour away by fast moving tourist boats that regularly cruises between the two islands almost every hour, everyday. Riding them on way to Bohol is more fun  at all!
